The FT / KPMG Brexit Boardroom Global Series 

This project was a joint venture between the FT and global accountancy firm KPMG. Four events were held in New York, Frankfurt, Tokyo and London bringing together financial and business experts to discuss the global business impact of Brexit.

I edited both the Frankfurt and Tokyo video packages. Each one was a series of interviews followed by a separate on camera interview with a prominent FT journalist.

For the London event I managed all aspects of the video shoot. Bringing in a director of photography to help with lighting and camera set up, we filmed individual interviews and then a two person interview.

Working with several different production crews and events teams around the world was a huge challenge with different timezones and languages to navigate. However, the result was an incredibly thorough series of content that gave some very interesting insights into the effects of Brexit on the business community.

The FT Live Brexit and Beyond Summit

Another FT event required an additional highlights real to showcase highlights of the event to other clients looking to get involved with future events in the series.

All footage was supplied and it was important to ensure the video fit seamlessly with other content created during the event. I was tasked with finding the most though provoking clips from speakers which included former Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg.

Fast turn-around edits

Often the team will need a fast turn around edit to showcase events. I'm always up for the challenge of taking different footage, sometimes shot at different locations by different crews, and turning it into a video that works within their wider strategy. Often I use After Effects to bring a new dimension to the footage.
